Rules:
- No bunting, no lead offs
- Stealing is permitted, but a player must wait until the ball crosses the plate to advance. Legal steals will be at the umpire’s discretion.
- ‘No walk rule’ in effect.
- If the pitcher throws four balls then the 1st base umpire will pitch up to 3 additional strikes to the batter.
- Accumulated strikes will carry forward
- The batter will either strike out or hit the ball
- Players cannot steal while the umpire is pitching
- Players may advance at their own risk if a deliberate play is made on any of the runners on base.
- In the event of a passed ball/wild pitch (i.e.: the ball gets by the catcher), runners cannot steal home but can advance to any other base (one per passed ball/wild pitch).
- Players may pitch 2 innings each and may not re-enter after removal.
- 4 runs maximum per inning
- Infield must have a regular compliment of players (First, Second, Third, Shortstop)
- Three outfielders are permitted, with a fourth player as a “Rover”
- Games will start at 7 pm and are 5 innings in length, with no inning starting after 8:20
- At the umpire’s discretion
PLAYOFFS
- Games will be played to completion (5 innings)
- Last inning (plus any extras) is open for both teams, meaning they may score as many runs as possible before three outs.
- 10 run rule after 3 innings.
